ZeroTouch Labs

Services / App development

Software shaped around how your team actually works.

Off-the-shelf software fits most of what you do. The rest ends up in spreadsheets, group chats and someone's memory. That is the part we build for.

We scope tightly, build in weekly demos so you can steer, and hand over the code, the docs and the deployment on your own accounts. We use boring, well-supported technology so the app is easy to maintain after we are gone.

What this looks like in practice

Representative builds for this service. Yours will be scoped around your tools and your process.

  • Client portal

Customers log in to see project status, approve quotes and download invoices instead of emailing to ask.

    Built with Next.js, Supabase, Stripe.

  • Operations dashboard

One screen showing orders, stock and delivery status pulled from three systems that never talked to each other.

Built with React, Postgres, REST APIs.

  • Field app

Technicians complete checklists, photograph work and capture signatures on a phone, offline, synced when back in range.

    Built with React Native, Expo.

How an engagement works

  1. 1

    Discovery call

    30 minutes

You describe the problem. We ask questions and tell you honestly whether it is worth automating or building. No slides.

  2. 2

    Scope and fixed quote

    Within a few days

A short written proposal: what we will build, what we will not, the price and the timeline. Fixed, not hourly.

  3. 3

    Build in weekly demos

    Weeks one onward

You see working software on a preview link every week and steer it. Nothing is a surprise at the end.

  4. 4

    Test and hand over

    Final week

We test it properly, deploy to your accounts, write the runbook and walk your team through it on a recorded call.

  5. 5

    30 days of support

    After launch

Anything that breaks or was not as agreed, we fix at no charge. After that, a small retainer or you are self-sufficient. Your call.

Questions about app development

What do you build with?

TypeScript, React and Next.js on the web. React Native with Expo for iOS and Android. Node or Python on the server. Postgres, usually through Supabase. We choose per project but stay inside this set so anyone can maintain it later.

How long does a typical build take?

An internal tool or portal is usually four to eight weeks. A mobile app is usually eight to twelve. The proposal gives a fixed timeline and you see progress every week.

Can you take over an existing app?

Yes. We start with a short audit so you know what state it is in, then agree what to fix first.

Have something that should run itself?

Tell us what keeps eating your team’s week. We’ll say honestly whether it’s worth fixing and what it would take.

Or email hello@zerotouchlabs.com. We reply within one business day.
